About the role
Support youths who have either graduated from previous Impart Community programmes and need continued engagement, or those who were unable to complete a programme and require further support. Address these transitional challenges by journeying with the youths to move towards meaningful and sustained engagement.
Commitment
● Minimum 6-month commitment
● Number of hours per week depends on caseload and individual capacity
Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic support to youths, with the goal of fostering meaningful engagement by:
● Identifying specific factors contributing to challenges in sustaining engagement
● Utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities or interventions to address barriers preventing sustained engagement in the community
● Liaising with stakeholders to provide updates and ensure alignment throughout your engagement with the youth
● Monitoring, tracking, and updating the youth’s progress internally after each session
● Escalating any safety concerns or issues internally
Requirements
● Must be 21 years or older
● Trained in basic counselling skills or have direct experience in providing counselling
